Darryl Bordenave, founder and CEO of Ruckage Design Co. is a self taught designer, with an immense passion for fashion. Deciding to further his understanding of the art by enrolling at the Savannah College of Art & Design, Darryl has set out with a clear mission for Ruckage...To help cultivate confidence through fashionable, artistic expression.
 

Notable company's such as Sprite, BET, and Fox News station, have taken notice to Darryl's edgy, yet classic take on men's wear. Darryl has also worked with the likes of Ginuwine, Big Sean, Mary-Mary, Roscoe Dash, Rockmond Dunbar, Travis Porter, DJ Drama, DJ Don Canon, Young Chris, Day 26 Anthony Que, and many more.

SPRITE

 

Darryl has been recognized by Sprite for their

"Sprite P.O.U.R campaign" (Purveyors of Urban Reality). The campaign highlights upcoming
individuals in fashion, music, and art. Sprite also recognized Darryl as a "Future menswear icon."


BET NETWORKS


BET named Darryl as one of their Top 10 fashion designers for their televised Lens On Talent show. The show showcased exciting talent in fashion, music,

and dance. It was created to give raw talented individuals a platform to showcase their art on BET
website and television channel.

"Entrepreneurship" Text Book


Authors Brenda Clarke & Judy Commers enlisted Darryl to head a chapter in their
international text book "Entrepreneurship" for his entrepreneurial pursuits. The book allows students nationally and internationally to study Darryl's story, and write assessments on his entrepreneurial endeavors.

Public Speaking and Inspiring The Youth


Darryl believes in giving back to all communities and has started an initiative to do so with his own tour entitled "The D.R.E.A.M Tour." The acronym means Drive, Resources, Ambition, Eagerness & Motivation, which are Darryl's key terms for success.

Schools such as Howard University, Clark Atlanta University, Albany State University,
University of Alabama at Birmingham, South Cobb High School, Tucker High School and KIPP's Way Academy have all called on Darryl for public speaking engagements, and to showcase his collections to inspire the students.
